
This little guy is called "Bitsy". His
mother, Shani was rescued several years ago
after she was orphaned. Shani was hand raised and has
since integrated with the local wallabies
who regularly visit the property. Bitsy loves coming up on to
the deck to check things out and see what is
happening!

Tamandari has been managed for the past 15
years as an organic property. The soil is of
excellent quality and enriched with natural
fertilizers, compost and mulch. An
irrigation system is installed throughout the
property for watering & fire control,
ensuring low maintenance for you.
A variety of fruit currently
grows on well estalished trees producing
peaches, nectarines, apples, plums, figs, jaboticabas, lemons, limes, mandarins,
oranges, grapefruit, pawpaw, bananas,
mulberries, pecans, grape &
passionfruit & cherries, and pineapple.
There is
a fully fenced large organic vegetable
garden producing abundant vegetables &
herbs, enabling you to have access to fruit
and vegetables all year round. Generous
compost bins are within easy access of
garden.
Hundreds of rainforest trees have been planted
throughout the property, including koala
species.
