
Kondalilla Falls are found in the Kondalilla
National Park, near Montville.
Kondalilla is an
Aboriginal word meaning "rushing waters".
Subtropical rainforest surrounds the falls and is a
refuge for many native plant and animal species.
Kondalilla
Falls became a protected park in
1906designated as a recreational area, and
received national park status in 1945. In
1988 it was linked to Obi Obi National Park.
There are a number of walking tracks to
explore for all levels of fitness. A
beautiful grassy picnic area can be found
near the car park.
